Jesus House is a faith-led nonprofit that provides free support to people in Oklahoma City facing addiction, homelessness, and poverty. Many who come through our doors are seeking to transform and improve their lives after experiencing challenges that have led to unemployment, homelessness, financial hardship, and addiction cycles.
We meet them where they are, offering long-term residential recovery. Our program houses up to 70 men and women committed to rebuilding their lives. Guided by the love and example of Jesus Christ, our dedicated staff, volunteers, and addiction recovery residents work to improve the lives of those seeking change and facing significant challenges on any given day.

Our History
Founded by Sister Ruth Wynne and Sister Betty Adams, Jesus House opened in 1973 in a storefront building at Reno and Walker Avenues. Their compassionate care laid the foundation for what is now a strong, evidence-based addiction and recovery program serving Oklahoma City for over 50 years.
